To Get to You: Release + Road Trip Giveaway

It is rare to come upon such a unique author as Joanne Bischof, but after reading the first book in her Cadence of Grace series, I realized there was an intangible difference to her writing, an almost ethereal quality to it. Joanne writes from the heart with characters who are very real and relatable, never failing to capture my emotions.

So it is with great pleasure that I get to share about Joanne's new release, To Get to You, and also about an exciting giveaway. In the coming weeks, you'll be hearing more about this story, book #1 in A Wild Air series. First, a little about To Get to You . . .

AmazonB&N

To get to the girl he loves, Riley Kane must head off on a road trip with the father he never knew. Then pray for a miracle.

Most teens would love to have a pro surfer for a dad. Just not Riley. Abandoned as a kid, he hates the sound of the ocean and the man who gave himself to it.

When the eighteen-year-old learns that his best friend is stranded at a New Mexico hospital as her father fights for his life, Riley hits the highway to head east. But when his Jeep breaks down before he even leaves California, he must rely on the one man he despises to get to the girl who needs him the most. And when it comes to the surfer with the Volkswagen van and dog-eared map, a thousand miles may–or may not–be enough to heal the past.

A story of new beginnings and second chances.

  1. Oh wow, Carole. What an honor your words are. I am so blessed by this and your kindness.

Would you know that last week I stumbled upon an image of My Hope is Found, clicked on it (I was on my phone) and it led me to your blog. Only I didn't realize it was your blog as I got to reading and I just kept thinking, "oh my!" it was amazing. And then I realized at the end that it was you. So even when I'm lost and stumble here without realizing, you manage to knock my socks off. HUGS!

    1. Joanne, your words touch me more than you can know. I did a good bit of research when I first started writing reviews, and the advice that resonated most with me was to simply express your thoughts and feelings about the book from the heart - and that's exactly what your writing compels me to do. I don't have the literary knowledge to know why your writing is different; I just know that it is. So glad I can help in a small way, Joanne.
