He is risen indeed!

"He breaks the power of canceled sin, he sets the prisoner free.
His blood can make the foulest clean; His blood availed for me."
- Charles Wesley

One of my favorite parts of this morning's sermon . . .

"'He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" (Revelation 21:4-5).

“I am making everything new!” The old is gone.

Gone with the hospital waiting rooms,
gone with the tear-stained divorce papers,
gone with the motionless ultrasounds,
gone with the foreclosure notices,
gone with the wheelchairs,
gone with the loneliness,
gone with the abuse,
gone with the cancer.

It’s gone! No more. Everything is going to be new.

A creative blending of the lyrics of two beautiful songs . . .

When we've been there ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun
We've no less days to sing Your praise
Than when we first begun.

I can only imagine.

All Rise by Babbie Mason is a powerful song with a beautiful Easter message.  I was privileged to hear her sing this at a music conference several years ago, and we were all on our feet in praise to the Risen King.
