Most Anticipated in 2014 - Fiction

Best of Books

Welcome to the Best Of Books Blog Hop 2013 – hostedby Diane Estrella, an enthusiastic blogger who does a lot to promote other bloggers, as well as books.

The anticipation is almost as much fun as reading! Today I'm sharing the books I most look forward to reading in 2014, some familiar and beloved authors, others new. I love emotionally engaging stories with rich characterization, multi-layered plots, and lyrical prose - and these titles certainly grab my attention. Books are listed in alphabetical order by author's last name.

For Such a Time by Kate Breslin

The Butterfly and the Violin by Kristy Cambron

With Every Breath by Elizabeth Camden

The Spymistress by Jennifer Chiaverini

The Amish Groom by Mindy Starns Clark and Susan Meissner

A Place in His Heart by Rebecca DeMarino

Chateau of Secrets by Melanie Dobson

Love's Fortune by Laura Frantz

A Broken Kind of Beautiful by Kate Ganshert

The Sentinels of Andersonville by Tracy Groot

Captured by Love by Jody Hedlund

The Traitor's Wife by Allison Pataki

Bridge to Haven by Francine Rivers

How Sweet the Sound by Amy K. Sorrells

The Hatmaker's Heart by Carla Stewart

Miracle in a Dry Season by Sarah Loudin Thomas

  3. Hi Diane - Thanks for including THE BUTTERFLY AND THE VIOLIN in your list for 2014! We still have several months before it's released, but I hope you enjoy it when it's finally in your hands. ; ) I'm quite honored to be included in this list of amazing authors!

  4. Carole, Really thrilled to be here and also to read Diane's and Laura's kind comments! And I have to put in a shout out for Kristy's novel here. I just finished reading it for endorsement and let me tell you, you and others are in for a rare treat. The story is just as beautiful as the cover and twice as compelling. Your list here matches mine almost to the letter:) Thanks for being a kindred reading spirit!
