The ART of Halloween

The Great Pumpkin
Michael Humphries

While I’m not a fan of Halloween’s ghosts, witches and goblins, I do enjoy all the fall colors and activities. As for art, there’s such a variety – from delightful folk art, to humor, and illustrations. I hope you’ll enjoy this assorted collection, many featuring children and pets. You can see a lot more paintings on my Pinterest board, The ART of Halloween. (Click on link.)

Do these pictures capture some of the things you enjoy about fall? What are some of your favorites?

  1. Love the Susan Wheeler with the bunnies! These are the kind of pictures I like to do in puzzles, Americana. Thanks for taking the time to find and share these with us! Kim

    1. Kim, I thought Susan's painting was precious, one of my favorites also. And I just love Tom Wood's humor.

Funny that you should mention puzzles, because that's how I developed my art collection - by looking for pictures that I could work in my computer jigsaw puzzle game. Americana themes are my favorite.
